Spectre is built on the unique Architecture of Luxury platform, deliberately designed from the outset to accommodate an electric powertrain. This all-aluminum spaceframe, scalable and modifiable, provides unprecedented flexibility. Engineers enhanced the spaceframe’s rigidity by 30%, achieving remarkable structural improvements. The battery integration not only contributes to the architecture’s stiffness but also acts as 700kg of additional acoustic insulation.

All-electric Drivetrain

Rejecting compromises, Spectre boasts an all-electric drivetrain featuring two Separately Excited Synchronous Motors. This configuration produces a performance equivalent to a 430kW internal combustion engine, propelling Spectre from 0-60mph in 4.4 seconds. The 530km WLTP range, determined through client engagement, aligns seamlessly with the lifestyles of Rolls-Royce clients. Charge time from 10-80% is an impressive 34 minutes using a 195 kW fast charger.

Digital Engineering

Spectre is the most connected Rolls-Royce, leveraging Decentralized Intelligence for rapid responses to road and weather conditions. With three times as many sender-receiver signals, Spectre is described as ‘Rolls-Royce in ultra-high definition.’ The Planar Suspension System ensures the hallmark ‘magic carpet ride,’ evolving from the system first launched on Ghost.

SPIRIT – Digital Architecture of Luxury

SPIRIT, a redesigned digital architecture, enhances the owner’s connection with Spectre, integrating seamlessly with the Whispers app. For the first time, clients can extend Bespoke commissions into the digital realm.

Exterior

Spectre’s design draws inspiration from haute couture, modernist sculpture, nautical design, tailoring, and contemporary art. The Pantheon grille, the widest ever on a Rolls-Royce, features polished stainless-steel vanes illuminated with 22 LEDs. The Spirit of Ecstasy figurine, specially designed for Spectre, contributes to its exceptional aerodynamics. The split headlights pay homage to the Phantom Coupé, and the fastback’s seamless roofline enhances aerodynamics.
