In the hypercar stratosphere, where engineering meets pure fine art, few ateliers command the reverence of Pagani Automobili. From the legendary Grandi Complicazioni division comes an exceptional new chapter in automotive royalty—a bespoke creation celebrating the milestone 70th birthday of founder Horacio Pagani.
The Pagani Huayra 70 Derecho is a bespoke few-off storm on wheels creation from Pagani’s Grandi Complicazioni division, revealed as the second of three Huayra 70 models created to celebrate Horacio Pagani’s 70th birthday.
Pure V12 Power & Pure Analog Engagement
The Derecho is powered by a 5,980 cc twin-turbo V12 developed for Pagani by Mercedes-AMG, producing 864 hp and 1,100 Nm of torque, paired with a Pagani by Xtrac seven-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive. Its top speed is electronically limited to 217.5 mph.
An Aerodynamic Masterpiece Inspired by Nature’s Force
The car features a Carbon-Titanium and Carbo-Triax monocoque, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires, and an exclusive Pearl Orange and Blue exposed-carbon livery inspired by the force and precision of a derecho storm.
Pricing has not been officially announced, but as a Pagani bespoke commission, it belongs in the $5 to $9.5 million range, depending on the level of customization.
